cannot connect internet (wired ) in sabayon linux 7 amd _g

hello there,
i have installed sabayon 7 amd_g and i use a wired internet connection i am editing wired connection by going to configure in network settings my internet connection person gave me ip address ,subnet,default gateway ,preferred dns and alternative dns to establish connection in ipv4 ,now when i am configuring wired connecdtion in network setting it is showing as didconnected after some time without connection establishment now tell me the process which i am following is correct or not and help me out with this please.

i am using rcn broadband service

I'm based in brazilian nets (i lives in Brazil) however..

in Brasil, regular wired connections have dynamic IP, you should "get" the adresses, gateway, IPs and mask, DNS, automattically, and not define then manually.

Only Companies, Universities, uses STATIC IP in Brazil...

If your net uses STATIC IP net, please post here, since the procedure is different.
