Hello,
I have a problem with my sound. When I run a program for a minute or so, the sound auto-mutes. I can only turn it back on when I close the program. When it does work, it works fine.
I remember that I had this same problem with Ubuntu 2-3 years ago. Back then it was simply solved by choosing OSS instead of ALSA. But I can't find OSS in the settings or in Entropy, so I guess this is not possible.
I did not have this problem with sabayon 5.3 x64 Gnome. Right now I'm running a fresh install of Sabayon 6.0 x64 KDE with all the latest updates. I did not have this problem with the Live DVD.
My pc uses an VIA VT1708S onboard soundcard.(ASUS P5Q PRO TURBO)
