KDE panel behavior [Solved]

Hello,

My system is fully up to date.
When I add a new panel, first I try to place it and resize it to be on the left of the desktop, in the middle, shorter than the side.
At moving it from one side to another, the panel itself and the settings panel slowly follow the mouse arrow, so they are pretty far behind. When I release the mouse button, the panel and its settings panel slide slowly to the indicated place.
This is unnatural. Is there anybody else experiencing this?

Then, I try to put some icons on it. The icons are dragged from the kickoff menu. They come to some random places on the panel and I can't place them in a usable manner. They overlap, but not necessarily exactly one over another, being a bit randomly placed.
I lock the widgets. After a day, they are perfectly overlapping. When are unlocked, they tend to run away when the mouse pointer is near. This is funny.
Again, is there anybody else experiencing this?

I have set the desktop as grid desktop, having defined a default activity.

What should I do?

try to re-install these packages:

thanks, it worked.
But, what does it do with gtk?
The icons on a vertical panel don't align though.
The behavior is still precarious in that respect.

Alignment of icons on a vertical panel works OK for me. Perhaps when Entropy has the KDE 4.7.2 packages (within the next few days, I expect) and you upgrade, you'll find it works for you.

Well, I can't wait for the new KDE.
Now, mine crashes in various ways, as I don't even know what to report for a bug first.
Mostly, effects disappear from time to time (they are deactivated by something in xorg.conf, or I need to restart completely to have them back). The panels loose transparency.
Weirdest thing is that I have a Gnome ghost. At restart from the KDE, when plasma desktop goes away, the Gnome desktop seems to be in the back.
Some Gnome applets haunts my desktop too, such as NetworkManager Applet, some blue search window at KDE startup, until I click in it, then it disappears, and the Caribou asking me to enable the accessibility in order to start.
Actually, my PC has split personalities these days...
