Buongiorno a tutti,
sto cercando di configurare e far partire la mia stampante (su indicata).

Ma se con

In sostanza, si apre l'installer grafico di HP device manager, ma mi dà l'errore che vedete.

Ho spostato l'argomento in Sabayon Linux Discussioni Generali, la sezione Sabayon Linux Suggerimenti è dedicata a suggerimenti diretti agli sviluppatori o agli amministratori dei forum o del sito per migliorare Sabayon, non per suggerimenti diretti agli utenti.

Sembra che non riesca a scaricare i plugin necessari per far funzionare la tua stampante prova ad eseguire:
(come root)

questo messaggio di errore potrebbe essere molto utile, controlla di aver installato pygobject:

se non ti restituisce nessun pacchetto, installalo tu stesso con:
(come root)

fatto questo, riprova a scaricare i plugin.

Ho scoperto una cosa singolare... Prova ad aprire tu stesso il link:

Pare che i server siano temporaneamente inattivi :mrgreen:

Penso che appena ritorneranno attivi tutto andrà a posto...
Probabilmente ora quel povero programma ti scaricava il file HTML di quella pagina e tentava di eseguirlo come script, fallendo miseramente e conducendo a quel messaggio d'errore fuorviante :lol:
