hp 6500 printer

Sabayon 6 kde 32 bit.

Not great at adding a printer in Linux. Coming from Ubuntu 10.10 gnome and Mepis 11 kde.

Did an internet search and a search of this forum. Didn't find anything that I noticed about an HP 6500 all-in-one.

I haven't been yet to HP and looked, but will.

Has anyone else dealt with this printer in Sabayon?

I would try installing hplip
as root:

equo install net-print/hplip
