EeePC not booting

It seems the install iso image is not capable of booting (U)EFI systems (some eeepc uses this new boot system).

I've done quite a bit of research on this topic and began to write a wiki entry. Please have a look at it and contribute!
Or tell me if I'm totally wrong and there is a way to use the sabayon iso image to create a bootable usb stick.
