Hi all,
I have a computer with an AMD Fusion-based (E350 APU) motherboard running SL 6.0 LXDE x86.
It features two sound output devices: (results from lspci)
00:01.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc HDMI Audio out for AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics
00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA) (rev 40)
I am unable to test the HDMI audio at this time, but I'm not particularly interested in that (yet).
Using the sound configurator in LXDE, I am able to disable the HDMI audio device and test the Azalia output to a pair of headphones. It successfully tests each stereo channel.
However, programs such as Xnoise and Adobe Flash videos run in Midori and do not produce sound output.
I have visited the Intel HDA troubleshoot page, but this particular model isn't included. I freely admit being a novice in troubleshooting these issues in Linux. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
