Hi
iI got weird behavior w/ Sabayon R6 KDE . I was unable to relaunch a KDE session , (I had to hibernate several times my sessions before)
I got someting like this as following message "/var/log/gdm/.ICEauthority" not deleted or something around
Well, (I am an oldUNix sysadmin) I had to log in as single user, remount manually the /var logsystem and remove all files from /var/log / gdm
Is it a bug??

do you have installed GNOME3 dependencies?
i ask this because you have GDM that is from GNOME
Sabayon KDE uses KDM, not GDM.

Yes
I had before Gnome installed. But, when I saw the new Gnome 3, I decided to swith for KDE.
So, what you I proceed to aboid this kind of problem ??
