no boot after installation of sabayon 6 [Solved]

The pure desperation does me to my first contribution.

Finally, has resolved me after long consideration to want to go one step further after years with LinuxMint and me for the installation of Sabayon 6 gnomes-64bit-beside LinuxMint decided.

I have 2 harddisk in the computer. On the smaller ones is Win7 alone and on the big LinuxMint.

Win7 is integrated Digging easily.

Then about the live CD I have Sabayon 6 Gnome -64bit- on the free space of the big harddisk instal.

With will boot up Sabayon, unfortunately, in the boat menu not offered.

The look with gparted at the harddisk shows that the system must exist.

The attempt about them, not quite luxuriant, possibility with the repair of the Bootloaders about the live CD has failed as pitifully like the attempt with the SuperGrubDisk.

If somebody has a catching fire idea....

which os controls boot?, I assume it is linux mint, or you could be using the win7 boot loader.
If mint controls grub, boot mint and mount the sabayon partition, then run in a root terminal

update-grub

mint should find sabayon and add it to the grub menu.
Trick is, you have to have sabayon partition mounted, or grub update will not find it.
You may need to edit fstab and add the sabayon partition, also make a directory for it so fstab can find it.

mkdir /mnt/sabayon

You can change /sabayon to anything you want, I usually use the host name.

Your suggestion worked, unfortunately.
Could it be that it is the fact that the partitioning of Sabayon an LVM set up ...

I've solved the problem in another way.
I've reinstalled SABAYON and performed a manual partitioning.
Then the trail of has genfool works too
Now I have the first major update (199) behind me and can finally get started ...
