glad that sabayon keep up the good work of gentoo

i am glad that sabayon is keeping gentoo alife, after some year i returend to linux and was really unhappy that gentoo does not get developed anymore. so i tried some linuxes like debian, slax, damnsmall, ploplinux, suse etc... but nothing did the job as good as sabayon. i like the update structure and the bootup from gentoo so i like sabayon.. its just everything sabayon (gentoo) is one of the best solutions for beginners and for advanced linux users

SL is not "keeping Gentoo alive". Gentoo doesn't need SL to keep it alive; Gentoo has plenty of "life" in it and would continue to exist irrespective of whether or not SL existed. SL is bringing Gentoo to a wider audience who would not otherwise know how to install and use Gentoo, that's all.

Where on Earth did you get that idea from? Of course Gentoo is still being developed. Just look at the activity in the Gentoo ebuild repositories, Bugzilla and forums.

If you look at pure forum activity Gentoos forum is as busy or busier than Arch linux and both of those forums make this one look like a ghost town.
