I am looking in to building a community repository of my own.
The requirements for software are straightforward: the latest Sabayon build would do the trick.
the question i have is a matter of hardware.
Specifically, how much hard drive space does a repository require? 100GB? 1TB?
This is going to operate on a LAN to support internal development boxes so "bandwidth requirements" is really a non issue.

Well as the a community repo contains whatever you put in it, you decide how much space will be used.

1TB? 500GB? what?

Are you meaning a mirror? What you describing sounds more like a mirror to me? Its about 100GB for a standard sabayon mirror
