Network manager do not remember settings for pppoe

well in am using Sabayon gnome..
i found this problem very long back but never reported..
i have dsl connection for which i need to dial pppoe connection either via rppppoe or network manager..
network manager seems to forget the service name and connects to second service on my line through which i cannot access internet..
so is there any way to edit some config files and make it default setting would be great as i need to dial it for sometimes to get connected to proper service
