resolution problem... [Solved]

Postby Matryx » Sat Jul 23, 2011 19:16

I have a LG 37450 IPS and I'm using a Giada CUBE-N3-D2OB Intel Atom 330 CPU NVIDIA ION connected with HDMI and it seems like the resolution is wrong.

Here's what I'm talking about. I also had this same problem when I connected my old PC system using DVI-HDMI.

I'm not sure what the problems is but I've been to AVS forums and it seems that none of them has the same problem as me. So I'm guessing it might be a driver problem.

Don't know, but try booting with kernel boot parameter res=1920x1080 (or whatever your monitor's resolution is). You press F5 at the LiveDVD boot menu and then append the boot parameter to the kernel boot line.

Found the problem. There's actually an option in my TV menu "Just Scan" and everything looks fine now.

Now I need some help with linux. Can someone point me to a tutorial on how to install programs and XBMC with SL.
