What model broadcom is it? lspci in root terminal will tell you.
Most broadcom issues I have seen, module is not loaded
Code: Select all
modprobe b43

Then see if it works, if so. need to set the module to auto load.

Only other issue with broadcom I have seen, older cards. for some reason the wl module gets loaded for the card.
In this case, you need to unload the module
Code: Select all
rmmod wl

then load the b43, if that is the case, you need to blacklist the wl and set the b43 to autoload.

Try this and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help genfool but still not working /: somebody tolds me add the name to the black list by this way:

Code: Select all

echo "blacklist ssb" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
echo "blacklist b43" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

then i try your solution but it doesnt work, can i try anything else?? thanks!!

You guys should read up on b43, it is what you want to be using. Blacklisting is for old kernels....
