background in gnome-panel [Solved]

Postby anonimo » Fri Jun 24, 2011 8:37

I have just installed Sabayon 6 from new iso. I'd like to set a background (gnome-toolbar.png like 5.5) to my gnome-panel, but if I try to change it from the properties of gnome-panel, it says to me that several of this properties are disabled. So, how I can set a background, maybe with gconf editor?
Thank you

Could you explain better this: "it says to me that several of this properties are disabled"?
Maybe with a screenshot, in my experience the options are disabled only if the property is not selected (for example if you have selected "no background" it will not allow you to use an image as your panel background).

That's strange... As a test, if you create e new panel, are you able to edit those options?
