Only a blank screen with Sabayon 5.5 E17

I am trying to run the Sabayon 5.5 E17, x86, LiveCD; all the steps are OK (running verbose mode), but at the finish only a blank screen...The same problem with amd64 version...

My laptop: HP Paviliondv2-1110us

When you boot the LiveCD, press F5 when you see the boot menu and then append xdriver=vesa to the end of the kernel boot line and press Enter. See if that gets you to a Desktop.

Alternatively, if you are prepared to install to your HDD, you could download the ISO for either the KDE or GNOME editions of SL and use that to burn a LiveDVD, as those editions come with the closed-source driver in addition to the open-source driver. You could then install SL to your HDD and install E17 afterwards.

(I wonder if your problem is the same as that reported in the thread: No xserver when installing or booting the live version.)

I will try xdriver=vesa.

The other user solved installed Sabayon 5.4 E17

If no success, I will try install SL gnome and after install E7
