Non è cambiato nulla purtroppo! Quei link non funzionano.. non è che si possono modificare, in qualche modo? Oppure posso provare ad installare un altro filemanager...

Purtroppo Gnome è molto parsimonioso con le opzioni di personalizzazione... Pare che vogliano evitare di "confondere" l'utente... Una parte della loro filosofia che mi è sempre sembrata discutibile, però questo è quello che passa in convento :mrgreen:

Non riesco a immaginare cosa possa andare storto, per caso hai installato e poi rimosso XFCE o simili? Perché l'unica evenienza in cui accadono cose simili è quella, di solito, dato che Thunar è dispotico e come lo installi si piazza come file manager predefinito, poi quando lo disinstalli capitano cose simili.

No, non credo proprio! Ho solo fatto quello che mi avevi suggerito nell'altro post (disinstallazione driver ATI), ma comunque il problema è sorto dopo... Vabbè, adesso ho messo sulla barra un collegamento ai miei documenti, quindi almeno riesco a visualizzarli in modo rapido!

Son veramente curioso di sapere cosa sia successo...
Facciamo cosi:

1) dai un'occhiata ai file:
.xsession-errors nella tua home
/var/log/Xorg.0.log
dopo che clicchi su uno di quei collegamenti, per vedere se ci sono errori.
2) cosa succede se esegui da terminale:
(come utente comune)

(~ è un comodissimo carattere che verrà automaticamente espanso dal terminale nella home dell'utente)

Vengono menzionati wine (che avevo installato, ma non mi serve proprio, e per questo credevo di averlo rimosso) e konqueror (che non utilizzo e credevo di avere rimosso). Cosa ne pensi?

Bene, credo che sia promettente come cosa, solo un consiglio, usa i tag Code in questi casi, rendono il tuo messaggio più leggibile, trovi, quando scrivi il messaggio, un tasto in alto a sinistra con la scritta Code, devi solo riportare l'output lì :wink:

Konqueror potrebbe essere la radice dei tuoi mali, cosa succede quando usi:

Code: Select all: xdg-open ~

ti appare nulla nel terminale?
Dato che ci sei, scrivi anche cosa ti restituisce:

Code: Select all: equo query installed konqueror

wine non dovrebbe essere influente, certo, se non ti serve, sei libero di disinstallarlo.
Ovviamente usi Gnome come ambiente desktop, vero?

Quindi il problema è che lui cerca di usare konqueror come file manager predefinito, ma è evidente che lo hai rimosso. Ne segue che i link non ti funzionano.

Il mio sospetto è che tu abbia installato precedentemente KDE4, lo script xdg-open (che è lo script responsabile di selezionare e avviare un dato file con l'applicazione predefinita) viene tratto in inganno e (stupidamente) cerca di avviare il file con i programmi di KDE4, non li trova e... Il risultato è quello :roll:

Quindi secondo me dovresti ripulire per bene il sistema dai pacchetti di KDE4, non lo devi usare, vero? Oppure hai 2 ambienti desktop e intendi tenerli?

No, no! Ho installato la versione con Gnome e intendo continuare ad usare quello!
Comunque, ti faccio un'altra domanda che non centra niente: Entropy mi dice che ci sono aggiornamenti, e come nell'altro post (quello relativo ai driver) mi chiede di accettare la licenza di "radeon-ucode". Di cosa si tratta esattamente? Tieni presente che ho disinstallato i driver ATI e sto usando quelli open per la scheda grafica intel (quella del microprocessore). Grazie!
