Yesterday I have some problems with ubuntu and dicided to change to sabayon 5.5 Gnome, heard very good things about it, but after instalation I realise that wifi card wasn't instaled at start. So I start googling a lot and try a lot of things like this to threads:
http://forum.sabayon.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4382
http://forum.sabayon.org/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=23215
http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/ath9k_htc
And at least I tryed to compile the wireless drivers of my usb card that I found on this site http://linuxwireless.org./en/users/Download/stable/#compat-wireless_2.6.37_stable_releases and it came with an error when I try to compile the drivers.
I run "lspci" and "lsusb -v" and the two cards are detected but when i run iwconfig or ifconfig -a ther is no wifi interface.
I have an Asus 1201-NL with 3gb. The wifi cards that I want to configure are:
Tp-link WN722N USB (the chip I think is Atheros AR5416, driver ath9k_htc)
Realtek RTL 8191SE
kernel 2.6.37-sabayon, clean installation no updates.
If anyone could helping me installing both it would be amazing
Ps:sorry about my errors and grammar
