Tomcat en sabayon

he instalado tomcat en sabayon y no se como activarlo ni donde esta la ruta,¿alguien puede ayudarme? no tengo nada de experiencia en tomcat.

No lo he probado, pero debería de iniciarse con /etc/init.d/tomcat-6 start
Como referencia inicial de cómo está configurado tomcat, mira la documentación de gentoo: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/java/tomcat-guide.xml

Perdón por tardar tanto en responder, ya lo conseguí¿alguien me dice como dar por terminado un post? es que hay varios que he querido cerrar pero no se como hacerlo

siento tener que molestar de nuevo pero es que vi que se iniciaba el servicio y postee el anterior post, hoy al tratar de empezar a usarlo me di cuenta de que al entrar a http://localhost:8080/, lugar en el que que debería salirme la pagina principal de tomcat en lugar de este me sale totalmente en blanco, si no lo inicio antes no me encuentra la pagina directamente así que creo que trata de hacer algo ... , traté de leer la pagina que me pasastes pero al tratar de instalar con emerge tomcat me dice lo siguiente :
