knetworkmanager-4.4.0_p201102 no longer automatic connect

The latest update to knetworkmanager-4.4.0_p20110204 is no longer automatically connecting to my wifi network. In addition, it takes at least two attempts to make a connection. This was working fine prior to the update. I believe that networkmanager-0.8.2-r2 was updated recently as well. This is irritating because I had no problems and now all I have is problems. Is there a way to remove the updates and fallback to the previous version? Thanks.

I had the same problem with knetworkmanager to so I removed it and just use the networkmanager and it connects just fine

you could also try this right click on your networks icon in your taskbar,click on edit connections,click on wireless connections and click on wlan and click on edit and see if you have connect automatically

Been in testing a few days and nobody including myself had issues there.

Sure you have all updates installed properly?

I have that issue too. Disabling network from the plama applet and then enabling it makes it connect but from nothing to do to two clicks, it's a pain.
My knetworkmanager was updated the 05/02 and networkmanager the 09/02 so i believe it's actually somehow more related to networkmanager than the plasma applet.

Yes, Connect automatically is checked.

As far as I can tell they are properly installed. They were installed using Sulfur updates.

I have the same issue. I've reinstalled knetworkmanager but with no effect.
Could someone post any advise?

If you want to connect automatically using knetworkmanager-4.4.0_p20110204 then follow the steps in the post Re: wifi etho connection and don't enter a password for KWallet.

Well, using Fitzcarraldo's howto I have resolved issue. But it worked only with kwallet management. But thanks anyway.
