Sabayon Chromium theme...

Postby alonsoty » Tue Dec 21, 2010 0:52

Ok, I'm beginning to understand something with the chromium themes! :)
I think that ultimately it is better to have a dark theme; what do you think?
I'm trying something very reflective for tabs so that it can conflict with an opaque frame.
There are two versions with different reflectivity in the preview, maybe the No.2 appears to fit better in the default theme with Gnome...
Please, give me some advice...

For now I just figured out where all things must stand, then I'll start to drawing better.
I also wanted to make some reference to the blue of the latest works of TheV00d00.

<flattering comment> I really liked your FF light theme </flattering comment>

<constructive comment>
I think the theme looks nice, but the degradee doesn't feels good...
You go from light to dark and then from dark to light, but it looks like it were sunken in the middle (below the omnibar, but above the bookmarks) it doesn't fit with the buttons of chromium that usually looks a bit more raised..

The second version looks better to me, but it will definitively not fit with a lighter global theme, and even a for a dark theme it looks too black :P (Ok, there are some darker themes like Tragedy from KDE, and that chromium theme fits it perfectly :D)

I will go for the second, but it's my opinion...

I used to like and use more darker themes, but I've realized that my eyes work better with lighter colors...
So, I'm giving you a very subjective opinion... Thats why I like more the FF light theme :)

Your work always ends up very nice, so I'll keep an eye on it!

I have fun a little longer with Chromium themes because the possibilities are many.
Then, during the holidays, I will choose those more interesting in order to pack definitively!
