I think there should be sub-directories in the Kmenu. Like the browsers in a sub-directory and the irc and chat clients in another, and the administration tools, and all the email clients in another. Same with the multimedia. Put sub-directories in it like Cd-players, videoplayers, audioplayers, burning and extracting. It doesn't clutter up the menu as much. Its somewhat intimidating to look at the mess. Thats just my opinion.
"The Kicker"? Never heard of that before but yeah the sub-directories is a great idea because the "Internet" and others directories are little bit too big.
of course kickoff (the new kmenu) rocks, but it still uses the kmenu structure when you browse your applications.
even if the great new menu solves the problem of getting quicker access to your favourite applications and features, it still doesn't solve the problem of browsing and playing with all included applications. a better menu structure is still an advantage, especially when you try the big (bloated) software repos. of sabayon.
I don't get your point. I mean even kickoff profits from a better menu structure. If I use it's 'Applications' tab, I browse the menu structure, too. This is what I would do, if I want to try new programs, which is one of the great advantages of Sabayon for me.
