Thank you very much for advice.
I have had installed once gentoo, minimal install, using documentation, on my old laptop (very old), so I know a thing or two, but far from expirienced.
I will try that when I have time. For now, will probably be satisfied with equo, on main system, at least.

The use of Portage and Entropy in the same Sabayon, is not so easy, although may be carry.

But in your case, now the new GLIBC, is now in the database of Entropy, "normal" Portage and in the Sabayon overlay also... Instalable with equo or sulfur.

Keep using entropy (equo) in Sabayon and ready, study, wow to use portage.

the command that you tried:

Code: Select all
layman -s glibc

is erroneous, since GLIBC is not an Gentoo Overlay.

Yap. will do.
I have decided to use equo, and yes, to learn portage.
