This will "Only" remove the notification ( Popups ) and not that little shield showing updates are needed right?

No, it will remove the shield too. If you just want to remove the notifications you can do so in KDE with system settings, general, notifications. I don't know what the equivalent is for Gnome.

Ah ok thanks for pointing that out.

I'm planning to set the systems that have Sabayon on them to only get notified in about a months time or so instead of daily. New people will be very :evil: if it keeps popping up every time it reboots or doing use :lol:

remove it completely, all magneto packages

They have KDE dependencies, without them updating just Entropy is much faster, sometimes it might be needed

For gnome it is: System>Preferences>Startup Applications then untick Magneto Update Notifier.
