Mixer (Phonon) in 2010-9-28-K64 [Solved]

Postby down8ve » Wed Sep 29, 2010 12:22

I've noticed that Flash sound output is quite low, especially when compared to notifications. Since my motherboard is fairly basic (ECS 945G w/Intel HD), I only see one slider for my analog output.

I see PulseAudio stuff on my system, so figured PulseAudio's mixer is the way to go, right?

Thanks for such a beautiful OS.

I opened a console and ran alsamixer, then pressed F6 and selected my HDA Intel card. At that point all my various sliders appeared within alsamixer. I used my arrow keys select channels and to raise the volume on these channels: Master, PCM and Front.

Now everything is fine.

Thanks for the help!
