Google wave is apparently open to all now. It graduated to labs. If you haven't tried it now is your chance.
maybe it will be usable now that everyone can access it.

not holding my breath on that one. Maybe in a couple more years it will be functional

I know it seems like a bust to me also. I was just letting everyone here know in case they hadn't heard. I think that was the reason it sucked and didn't take off. the amount of people using it was stunted by the invites and no one could use it with the people they were comfortable with, now you can as people trickle in.

Google's "Wave preview" client is built pretty much with group collaboration in mind.. Google always makes great products. What I'm hoping is that this will be decentralized, like other websites could provide the same service, that way my friends who use yahoo, or hotmail could use this with me also.
