how to install kde-minimal... [Solved]

i want to install kde minimal how can i do that -do not want kde full-
i did a research with the searchs motors and guess NOTHING! maybe you can do a wiki more explicit with things like:

how to install kde minimal (if is possible)

how to install gnome-core (idem)

how to install gnome

how to install kde

how to install xfce

etc...

all this talking about 5.2 CORE installation...i'm newbie to sabayon but not to penguin: many years running debian and 80% all distros except gentoo/sabayon and slak

we have sets for this.

After you install Core do something like this:

equo update && equo upgrade then
equo install @xfce or
equo install @gnome or
equo install @lxde or
equo install @e17
equo install kde-meta

For KDE I did not write a set yet.

thx dude...now i need a little help: when i start don't want anymore to type gdm like 'root'...the idea is start the pc and get in gdm(have flux also) automatically... is there something to configure? how to do that?

thx but still can enter 'automatic'

it's tired to type root then password then gdm then user then password...do i need to install some package

equo install gdm
rc-update add xdm boot

then:

nano /etc/conf.d/xdm

and set DISPLAYMANAGER to "gdm"

the @ signs mark a set. A set is just a collection of packages.

That message is just stating that xdm was already in that runlevel, so it will skip it.
Proceed with setting GDM as your default login manager like joost suggested, you can use the nano console based text editor, or any other text editor, for example using gedit:
