The Humble Indie Bundle brings more open source games

Postby brunox69 » Thu May 13, 2010 23:04

The Humble Indie Bundle is a very cool bundle where there are 5 indie quality games that are drm free and cross platform at the price you think it's worth, but the best is that 4 of this games are going open source Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru HD, and Penumbra Overture, the source code of Lugaru HD is already available so the demo version we have in entropy should be replaced soon, and of course the other ones should be brought to entropy. Another nice thing at the The Humble Indie Bundle is that the contribution are being used to support 2 charity foundations. The way the contributions are divided is up to you, you can contribute just for charity or just for developers, divide equally or customize the distribution. Please as soon as the games go open source ask it to be at entropy.

Note that is only the game code that is being open sourced, so you will still need to buy the content (textures/levels/sounds etc)
