boot Live DVD 64 bit G install issues

Good Morning:
I am new to Sabayon and have downloaded the 5.2 live DVD 64 bit gnome version.
When I try to run the boot 5.2 on the top of the menu it goes all the way in text then locks with a Black screen.
I am installing this on:
HP HDX 18
Dual core 2.83 mhz
320 HDD second hdd
Nvidia 512mb video
DVD drive

I have checked the DVD MD5 and it is good and have redownloaded it at a slower speed 2X,
but each time I try to run the live dvd I get to the same point and it locks up.
I am new to linux, and need some help and I not sure if I should try to install it on my HDD until it works via Live DVD.

can u hit alt f2 and see where it stops at?

As to Alt F2, I have tried that and the system is locked so it does not work.

I think I have discoverd what the problem is, each time I boot onto the live DVD, the process moves on to:
Loading or running GDM that is were it crashes.
A black screen and I must turn off the Laptop to reboot.
Can anyone help?

Yes and none worked, it still crashes at the end of the load right before or after it starts GDM.
