Probleme mit Quad Core Rechner

Hallo!

Ich hab hier einen Rechner mit einem Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550:

Von der Website hab ich mir das iso Image für die 64bit Architektur heruntergeladen
und auf eine DVD gebrannt.

Wenn ich von dieser DVD boote, bekomm ich auf dem Bildschirm KEIN Bild und der
Rechner beißt sich fest.

Ich kann sabayon nur dann installieren, wenn ich dem Kernel den Parameter acpi=off mitgebe.

Soweit, so gut: Jetzt hab ich das Problem, dass mit diesem Parameter von eine von vier Cores
erkannt wird. Hab es mit "cat /proc/cpuinfo" überprüft.


Was kann ich nun tun, um alle vier Cores zur Verfügung zu haben?

Hab jetzt mal den vga Parameter weggelassen und siehe da:

Der PC hat sich in einen Kernel Panic verrennt.

Hallo!

Poste mir mal bitte dein Mainboard das du hast und den Chipsatz.

Hast du schon mal die Parameter acpi=off versucht, hatte ein ähnliches Problem
erst nach einem Bios update hat es dann ohne den Parameter acpi=off funktioniert.



Bei mir war es ein Hersteller interner fehler.

Ich hab es - wie schon erwähnt - mit acpi=off probiert. Der PC lässt sich zwar starten, aber ich hab nur einen Core.
