http://planet.sabayonlinux.org/
We only release official releases, we do not release Release Candidate isos, if we did it would be 5.1-RC1
what does the title say?
Sabayon Linux 5.1-r1 GNOME and KDE: Stable release
what is is name of iso on server?
Sabayon_Linux_5.1-r1_amd64_K.iso
Sabayon_Linux_5.1-r1_amd64_G.iso
what is soooooo confusing?
Ok, I'll take a stab at answering the rhetorical question... because users are assuming that Sabayon Linux 5.1 would be named... Sabayon Linux 5.1? Because the enigmatic "r1" creates a confusing first impression of being a release candidate or some other draft? Because "X1000" would be a far cooler enigmatic alphanumeric combo than "r1"?

look at the title:
Sabayon Linux 5.1-r1 GNOME and KDE: Stable release
see the -r1?
now lets look at the iso file
Sabayon_Linux_5.1-r1_amd64_K.iso
see the -r1?
they match, as stated, we only put official releases on the mirrors, and it's always been like that.

I had troubles on SL 5.0 Gnome on my old laptop. Then I bought a brand new one(signature) and have troubles on SL 5.1 again.I can't even boot into X at all in the safe mode. I tried some cheat codes but no luck. My old laptop has VGA nVidia Ge Force 7300, so it works on SL 5.1(I'm writing from it now) but doesn't work on SL 5.0. My new laptop(signature) has troubles on SL 5.1 but works on SL 5.0...
