SL Feature Request: Device automounting in KDE 4

I originally posted this request/suggestion in the SL Bugzilla (bug no. 1063) and was requested by lxnay to do it via mailing lists or forums, not the Bugzilla. So here it is.


To the SL Development Team:

When you guys include KDE 4.4 and onwards, kindly consider enabling the
optional device automounting facility described in the following blog by KDE
developer Trever Fischer:

There have been posts in the SL Forums about automounting in KDE 4, and I think
this facility would be a big benefit, especially for newcomers to Linux and/or
SL.

I'm not sure what the auto-mount policy is. Personally I think its useful and a good feature to have.

Its actually specifically turned off in Gnome, not sure why that was.
