i can live without IE. i can live without propriatary crap in general and i can even forgo my steam and all my steam games - i dont really play them anymore anyway but i want to have some games at my disposal when i do want to play
i see nexuiz, cube 2, tremoulous and urban terror
i know i can only get so much help but with this new distro im compleatly confuzed i have played around with ubuntu 8.04 and opensuse but sabayon is threatening to stump me
with sulpher and magneto not working right for some reason there must be a easier way to at least get cube 2 installed and working to replace my CounterStrike: source

and again sulpher errors on all mirrors till mirror #8 goes for about 2 hours then fails and the app frezes

any ideas or walkthroughs would be much appreaciated

thats great but i naved over t o http://www.sabayonlinux.org/chat and sent out an S.o.S. and someone had me do some thing called equo and all the 598 updates are going (at 486 right now) then when thats done i hear i can just do equo search quake in rooted terminal so i can check out urban terror before i try to use wine for my old steam games
all simple stuff to most of you im sure but its like tring to re-learn how to walk only with bionic legs to me

You really need to learn how to use the package manager (Entropy: Sulfur GUI; Equo at the command line). See the introductory article in the SL Wiki (link is at the top right of this page) for full details. You're not going to get far until you learn how to use the system.
