KDE 4.3

Hallo,

habe bei KDE.org gesehen, das 4.3 als stable schon draussen ist.

Habe selber sabayon 4.2 mit KDE 4.2.4. Würde aber gerne auf 4.3 upgraden. Wie muss ich das denn anstellen???

Do you wnaty to upgrade the KDE 4.2 to 4.3 in the Sabayon 4.2, is it?
if this, with entropy, the KDE 4.3 will goes soon with the Sabayon 5, but for upgrade to KDE 4,3, you may make this with portage:

Edit the /etc/client.conf, change in pseudo-downgrades line, change disable to enable... Save.
then updating portage and entropy and syncronize:

# emerge --sync
# emerge -av portage
# equo update
# equo install entropy
# equo install equo sulfur magneto
equo database gentoosync


The logout, open a session out of KDE, for example in fluxbox, or in GNOME, and then:

su
emerge -s kde-meta
emerge -av kde-meta


Or Open Portato, the GUI for Portage, mark the packages of the KDE 4.3 and install.
After logout and reboot, if KDE 4.3 works, you may remove KDE 4.2 packages and libraries.

Hallo,

ich habe mal eine frage wie kann ich ein update von 4.2 auf 5 durchführen?
Habe schon alles probiert aber kein erfolg.


Für eine Ausführliche Hilfe währe ich sehr dankbar.
