The first thing I do after an installation is disabling it
the only thing it is good for is randomly crash applications...
My personal opinion is that they should document and improve ALSA rather than keep
forking audio libraries/servers.
Maybe they will finally get PulseAudio right, but having multiple audio APIs will not help
developers (both the ones who try to create good audio APIs and the ones who try to develop audio
apps for Linux), I think.
