you can't, you need to make a new partition. If you have no free space than you will have to shrink your windows partition first and than make a new partition. Make sure you defrag your hard drive first, than shrink, than make your partition.

As far as installing:

Do you mean to say that wubi takes care of defragmenting your hard drive, shrinks the windows partition if needed and makes a new partition to install Ubuntu on?

1. Defragment your hard drive, using the windows defrag utility, or a third party defrag utility, depending on your preference.
2. Shrink your windows partition, google the subject to find out how.
3. Make a new partition, google the subject to find out how.
4. Read the Sabayon Linux Wikis on installing, dual boot, that sort of thing.

There's a lot of information on Sabayon in the Wiki, most questions you will have have probably been asked before on this forum, search for them, and try google. If there's anything you find but do not understand, feel free to ask for an explanation here.

Be sure to provide hardware specs too, and be sure to read the following pages, preferably prior to installation:
Resources For You (Especially the thread on Entropy).

Should you run into problems, we will need log files. Howto Gather Log Files Easily - Help Us to Help You

And once your problem is solved: Why, and how to add "[Solved]" to your post. Please read.

Hope this helps ;)

According to me wubi does the following:
It installs Ubuntu on the users harddrive in a folder specified by the user as if it was a normal windows program. Then it alters the windows boot loader configuration file to add an entry for ubuntu, which then boots using the install directory as root partition. If you would uninstall the 'Ubuntu Program' the directory will be deleted and the boot loader config will be reverted to what it was before.

So for newbies, still depending on there windows, this is an easy way to play with it. The installation is just like they would install a windows program (which makes them comfortable, no altering with partitions which scares some of them) and in the mean while they can use it to get familiar with the linux world. I know you will say: Hey you can do that with a live DVD/CD. But this windows program like linux install has an advantage against a live DVD/CD. It is an actually installed linux version, so you can install packages and update your system. It will also run smoother then from DVD/CD.
