Problème avec Screenlets 0.1.2

Sous ma Sabayon 64bits, il m'est impossible de lancer les screenlets.

A la base j'avais le message du fichier "prefix" manquant dans le répertoire /etc/screenlets, je l'ai donc ajouté avec la commande "echo" le faisant pointer vers /usr/share (comme expliqué sur un autre forum) c'est à dire là où se trouve le répertoire des screenlets.

Le message a alors disparu mais rien ne se passe ensuite. Pas de message d'erreur dans un terminal. Et rien ne se lance.

Quelqu'un a une idée svp ?

Quelle version de Sabayon utilises-tu, la KDE ou la Gnome? Par exemple, si on parle des screenlets de Compiz et que tu utilises KDE, il se pourrait qu'il y ait une manipulation supplémentaire a effectuer.

j'utilise la version 64bits 4.1 (sans distingo kde/gnome, les deux sont installés et à jour) upgradée à 4.2 (distribution à jour normalement donc)

OK, merci pour le détail. En éppluchant les résultats du forum anglophone, je viens de voir que tu n'est pas le seul avec ce probleme. Il semble qu'il y a quelque chose qui se passe lorsque le systeme est mis a jour de la 4.1 vers la 4.2, mais malheureusement, le post en question ne va pas plus loin que la demande des fichiers de log. Je n'utilise pas les screnlets, donc je ne peux pas faire preuve de précision, mais s'il était possible de voir les logs, ce serait effectivement utile, surtout s'il y en a qui concernent directement les screenlets. Sinon, celui de Xorg probablement.

Quels fichiers logs ? Là est tout le problème

Ceux concernant les screenlets ne font état que de l'installation du package (/var/lib/entropy....) et sont d'ailleurs quasi illisibles
Ceux d'Xorg concerne la partie drivers (driver vidéo, clavier, souris, etc)

Pour les screenlets en eux même, la difficulté est qu'en sorti dans un terminal aucun message d'erreur ne s'affiche. Après il s'agit probablement d'un problème python (version ? librairies manquantes ?, tout semble pourtant ok). Mais là hélas je ne m'y connais pas suffisamment, et vu le nombre de fichiers contenant ne serait-ce que l'extention .log je ne sais trop vers lequel me tourner

Petite précision concernant ma version de base, m'en étant rendu compte, il ne s'agit pas d'une 4.1 actualisée comme je le dis plus haut, mais d'une 4.0 r1 (d'où les deux wm, kde et gnome présents à l'install) à jour.
Je ne pense pas que ça change quoi que ce soit mais ne sait on jamais.

Par contre je serais incapable de dire si à l'installation les screenlets fonctionnaient ou non puisque ne les connaissant pas je n'ai du tenter de les faire fonctionner que recemment.

Un ami vient d'installer la version 4.2 gnome 32bits et m'a informé qu'il n'avait aucun souci, par contre pas de /etc/screenlets/prefix chez lui !

Si quelqu'un a une version 4.2 gnome 64bits qu'il vient d'installer, je serais curieux de savoir ce que ça donne

Fait un petit tour sur Lafayette, regarde les guide pour Portage et Eix, met a jour le premier et installe le deuxième, ensuite on va t'expliquer comment installer des ebuilds.
