Missing Icons on Gnome Toolbarr or gnom

Postby Xanity » Tue Jul 21, 2009 21:29

Ok, so I deleted an icon on my taskbar or gnome toolbar at the top of my screen and now it doesn't show what programs I currently have open like Skype and XChat and I'd like to see what programs I have open in the background or whatever. How do I restore my toolbar back to the way it was before?

Ya, that wasn't what I was looking for, I was looking for a way to make it so that when I open Skype or XChat it will show the icon in the toolbar. Because that's the way my toolbar was before I deleted an icon off of it. And if it helps to tell you what icon I deleted, it was the one that looks like a sun that pops up when there is new updates ready install.

By the sound of it you deleted the system tray, this is a small area for programs to keep a small icon, to get rid of the entropy notification uplet simply disable or unistall it
