sorry, DLed it the other day and live CDed it for awile.
its a pretty good minimal distro.
I haven't had much time but it reminds me of an ubuntu version of "system rescue" cd
it has flash built in unlike ubuntu.
I did not install because I heard its kinda unstable.
It runs pretty quick, has Firefox, flash as stated before and I believe it has access to all of ubuntus repos.
I was hoping other distro hoppers had all ready tried it and had something to say about it. but if I am the first one maybe I will lead the way.
i love sabayon but i like knowing about other distros also
ex.
knoppix, *buntu, sabayon/gentoo, puppy, arch. i also seek other suggestions. so thanks and i will test as I can

I never tried crunchbang Linux though... Maybe I should take a look.

i tried it for a while, loved it but found it very difficult to control as i'm a linux n00b and havn't learned command line yet.

I've used Crunchbang before. It's a pretty neat distro. Although being based on Ubuntu, it's not as "n00b" friendly (i.e. I had to actually *gasp* edit a config file to get my fonts to look right) as Ubuntu. Still, I liked it, and I liked Openbox (the DE used in Crunchbang).

I've used Crunchbang before. It's a pretty neat distro. Although being based on Ubuntu, it's not as "n00b" friendly (i.e. I had to actually *gasp* edit a config file to get my fonts to look right) as Ubuntu. Still, I liked it, and I liked Openbox (the DE used in Crunchbang).

Openbox is a WM and not a DE. It's got some sweet pipe menus, I wrote a few for myself. Highly configurable.
