"GNU/Linux" bootsplash

I wanted to post this on KDE-Look.org, but apparently there are several kinds of bootsplash and i'm not sure which one Sabayon uses now, so i'm posting it here. I can't test other resolutions, so i just made the one that works for me. 1920x1600 sized images are included for resizing.

What is still missing?
What should i change?
Other suggestions/criticism?

We use FBSplash aka Gensplash.

Have you got a screenshot of it in action?

I have no idea how to make a screenshot of it "in action". It's just a black progressbar under the "GNU/Linux", anyway. Nothing fancy.

My initial idea was a fading effect like this:

I took the liberty of saving that image and adding it to ~/Slide 8)

My background changes to another picture in that directory every minute, that I made for this purpose ;)

updated config (progressbar is white now)

i can't figure out the verbose text width. The "[OK]" thingies are cut-off or misplaced. :?
