gpodder 0.16

i downloaded this newer version from the gpodder website but cannot get it installed through Sulfer? do i have to get it installed from a terminal or is there a GUI to do this? Sorry for the newbie question but just installed the Gnome version tonight and so far it seems very interesting...(Sulfer had an older version but wanted the newer one) Thanks in advance!!

It looks like they just need to compile a newer version (0.16.1) of gpodder and put it in entropy. 0.16.1 is the latest version in portage.

Always use the package manager, don't download from site.
