Wine and RandR/Nouveau?

Hello, wine has been troubling me with this error since I've reinstalled SL some time ago (it was an old install before, the *error* was non-existent back then):

err:winediag:xrandr12_init_modes Broken NVIDIA RandR detected, falling back to RandR 1.0. Please consider using the Nouveau driver instead.

It literally floods the whole console.
Should I worry about this? Could it stop some games/apps from working on wine?

have you tried tried renaming the wine folder in your home directory and letting wine recreate it?

Yes, the error will show regardless of prefix.
