Switch to kernel 3.6 made the system unbootable [Solved]

uhm. you don't have /boot partition ....

did you move/delete or created new partitons ?

I don't have a dedicated boot partition. I didn't move anything.
Years ago, I have installed Sabayon 6 on a partition of my drive.
Then I have upgraded when available.
When X has been released, I've started to have issues with it.
The boot looks like grub default.
After the equo upgrade/update, everything else works fine.
Don't know what should I do to fix the grub, to make it look as Sabayon again.
