Python IDLE

If you are new to Linux or new to Sabayon Linux and just not sure where to post, here ya go. Post without fear of being told to RTFM :-)

Python IDLE

Hello

I am trying to install the IDLE editor for python but im having no luck. I have added tcl tk to the USE tag in /etc/make.conf and ran:

Code: Select all
emerge python tk


but its still not working, what am I doing wrong?

I can second this...........no IDLE even after installing tk.

idle's bin name is by version i.e idle2.7 do a find under super user
Code: Select all
 find / -name idle*
. it should be installed
