Autorun programs on startup (gnome) [Solved]

Hi everyone,

I know this is kind of a noobish question but how can I add programs/commands to startup list?

I am using Sabayon 8 x64 gnome.

Here's what I tried already:

* Editing this file: ~/.gnome2/session-manual . The problem is there's nothing even close to session-manual in .gnome2 directory.

* Gentoo wiki says I can go to control center and navigate from there to 'sessions'. I don't seem to have a 'control center' and there's nothing in system settings that would allow to edit start up programs.

* I've searched the forum but could only find help for kde users on this topic.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

You will need to either open terminal or press ALT + F2 (opens run dialog). Then enter gnome-session-properties. This should bring up the edit window for startup applications.
