Search bar didn't work in Nautilus

Postby hatalar205 » Wed Aug 26, 2009 23:26

Search bar didn't work in Nautilus. When I try to search something, it says searching ..... but nothing happens and at last I have to cancel the searching. It also didn't work in SL4.1. It has a vital importance for me. I have lots of folders and files and I can't find them one by one. What will be the reason and possible solution?
Thanks in advance.

Sabayon 4.2 Gnome 2.26.2
Nautilus 2.26.3
Kernel 2.6.29-sabayon
Everything is your fault. Yes, I advised you but you did.

Look in the Start up Applications -

Preferences->Sessions->Startup programs
