sabayon 4.2 kde amd64 does not boot

Hi, I am having trouble booting into the live cd environment. I get as far as loading the kernel, and once it has loaded the screen goes black. My computer is an acer timeline 3810t-6414( laptop, 1.4ghz core 2 duo, 4gb ram, intel gma4500) and I am using an external dvd burner to boot. Thanks!

Provide more information of what you have tried

I used metalink to download the iso, which checks the md5 automatically, and I have tried Unetbootin. I have not yet tried any workarounds.
