Firefox 3.5 install problems

Postby Quepp42 » Mon Aug 03, 2009 5:22

Ok, so I'm feeling really dumb here and hopefully someone can help me out. I wanted to upgrade to firefox 3.5 so I downloaded mozilla-firefox-bin-3.5.1 w/sulfur and in my internet applications it has mozilla firefox (bin) as an option. so i click that and its the regular 3.0 browser. Am I missing a step or something? if anyone could help that would be great.

you problem may be becuase you installed the 3.5.1 vesrion, with the 3.0 open....
you may close and uninstall the 3.0 version, in the same sulfur (or with equo command), and then install the 3.5.1...
If this is not made, sabayon willuse the two firefoxes, the old and the new, and if one is opened, it is the priority.....even if is the older one.
