Another wireless problem

Another wireless problem

so ive be using Sab 4.2 gnome no problems at all

i wanted to have a look at the kde version, so installed it
i can see my wireless network, but i cant click on it to enter wpa key, i cant click on any of the plasmoids, i can close them, thats all
what can i do, any help appreciated, i dont have the option of wired connection, unless i want to freeze my ass off out at the stairs !

Wireless worked out of the box for me with Sab 4.2 gnome but I had to install wicd with Sab 4.2 kde and some users can't get wicd to work , the following may help solve your problem
