I have recently installed Sabayon 4.2 . is there a PDF editor available ? Any help on this would be most welcome.

I never used such software, but I heard about scribus
and pdfedit.

scribus is available in entropy:
Code: Select all
equo install --ask scribus

pdfedit in portage:
Code: Select all
emerge -av pdfedit
equo database gentoosync
